FEATURED: Jenny & Thomas

Article

Every home tells its own story - not only through the objects we surround ourselves with, but through the atmosphere, the light, and the choices that shape everyday life.

With FEATURED, we want to show how design truly lives—not in a showroom, but in real homes that are used and evolve over time.

This time, we visit Jenny Skavlan, presenter, author, and reuse enthusiast, and Thomas Gullestad, musician and actor. Their home is relaxed and personal, with space for both play and calm—where lived life always outweighs perfection.

Her er en engelsk oversettelse med litt strammere, mer naturlig flyt og mindre “oversatt tekst”-følelse:

Jenny and Thomas approach their home in a way that feels both playful and considered. Nothing here is placed just to fill space—everything has found its place for a reason. An inherited piece, a find from a trip, something made by someone close to them. It is a home built on sentiment as much as aesthetics.

This gives the rooms a distinct sense of weight—not heavy to be in, but grounded in meaning. Every object carries a story, and together they reveal something about who Jenny and Thomas are and what they value. The Tube Chair and Tube Table are a natural part of this setting.

Live has always been drawn to creating environments that feel intimate. It’s not just about design, but about moods, rhythms, and the imperfect details that bring a space to life. A home that grows with the days—and reflects the person who lives there.

FEATURED is about exactly that—homes that carry stories, and design that becomes a natural part of our lives.
