Pouf

2024, Norway

Pouf, designed by Jan Svartsund in 2024, is the first in a series of poufs to be launched through 2026.

The pouf is that friendly companion you can bring with you into any room.
Soft around the edges, sociable, and highly adaptable, it’s designed to fit seamlessly into a variety of settings. Its elliptical shape and lightweight construction give it multiple functions and uses. It can serve as an extra seat in the living room, and with its 45 cm height, it also works well at the dining table when an unexpected guest arrives.

Put your feet up and relax, or use it as a side table next to the sofa. The striped version adds a touch of charm and character to any space.

The poufs are built around a core of eucalyptus plywood with an outer veneer in poplar. They rest on a black-lacquered base, also made of plywood.

Each pouf is upholstered with foam and topped with a 150-gram fiber layer for added comfort.

The pouf can be upholstered in a wide range of textiles from Innvik, as well as in aniline and semi-aniline leather from Elmo.

We recommend vacuuming the poufs regularly using medium suction and a gentle nozzle, preferably with a soft brush. Be careful to avoid using objects with sharp edges.

For fabric stains, use a lint-free cloth or sponge. Warm and wring out the cloth or sponge, then press gently and evenly over the area to lift impurities. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the textile fibers.

If your pouf is upholstered in leather, we recommend following Elmo Leather’s care instructions and using their maintenance products. If you need assistance or would like to purchase care products, feel free to contact us – we’re happy to help.
