Pouf

2024, Norway

The Pouf, designed by Jan Svartsund in 2024, is the first in a series of poufs set to be launched leading up to 2026.

The pouf is a versatile companion you can move around any room. With its rounded edges, it is social and highly adaptable. Its elliptical shape and lightweight design allow for multiple uses. It can serve as an extra seat in the living room, and at 45 cm in height, it works well at the dining table when an additional guest arrives. Rest your feet while relaxing on the sofa, or use it as a side table. The striped pouf adds a touch of charm to any room.

The poufs are built on a core of plywood with a eucalyptus core and poplar veneer, and rest on a black-lacquered plywood base.

They are upholstered with foam, topped with 150 grams of fiber for added comfort.

The poufs can be upholstered in a variety of fabrics from Innvik, as well as aniline and semi-aniline leather from Elmo.

We recommend vacuuming the poufs regularly using medium suction and a gentle nozzle, preferably with a brush attachment. Be careful to avoid objects with sharp edges. For stains on fabric, use a lint-free cloth or sponge. Warm and wring out the cloth or sponge, then press evenly over the affected area to remove impurities. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the fabric fibers.

If the pouf is upholstered in leather, we recommend following  Elmo Leather’s care instructions  and using their maintenance products. Contact us if you need cleaning or care products—we’ll be happy to assist you.
