The Stripe Tote Bag is made from the same iconic striped textile used in Matre’s furniture collection. The fabric was developed in Norway by Elizabeth Matre-Aas in close collaboration with textile designer Saga Nilsson from the textile mill Innvik. Together, they created a woven fabric that balances bold graphic expression with tactile depth—contemporary in appearance, yet rooted in traditional craftsmanship.
Each bag is hand-sewn by Moving Mamas, a social enterprise that provides immigrant women with opportunities through meaningful work and training.
