On 27 August, Matre and Oslo Runway invite you to Kunstnernes Hus for a new edition of Design Salon.
This evening, we explore the connection between fashion and furniture design, and why the world's strongest design nations succeed in building cultures that extend far beyond individual products.

What can Norwegian design learn from this—and how can we work together to elevate Norwegian design on the international stage?

The panel consists of:

Anders Kemp – Features Editor at D2 and a leading voice in design, fashion, culture, and lifestyle.

Ali Gallefoss – Designer working at the intersection of furniture, fashion and art.

Caroline Kildebo – Journalist at ELLE Norway, covering lifestyle, interiors, and design.

The conversation is moderated by Guro Røberg.

Venue: Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo

Time: Doors open at 19:00 Conversation starts at 19:30 (approx. 60 minutes)

This Design Salon is for anyone curious about what happens when fashion and furniture design meet—and how, together, we can build a stronger Norwegian design culture.
