On 27 August, Matre and Oslo Runway invite you to Kunstnernes Hus for a new edition of Design Salon.
This evening, we explore the connection between fashion and furniture design, and why the world's strongest design nations succeed in building cultures that extend far beyond individual products.

What can Norwegian design learn from the world's strongest design nations?
Together with Oslo Runway, we're inviting designers, creatives and industry voices to explore the relationship between fashion and furniture - and why the most influential design cultures rarely succeed within just one discipline.
Countries like Italy, France and Denmark have built global design identities by connecting industries, craftsmanship and culture. What can we learn from their approach, and how can stronger collaboration help elevate Norwegian design internationally?

The panel consists of:

Anders Kemp – Features Editor at D2 and a leading voice in design, fashion, culture, and lifestyle.

Ali Gallefoss – Designer working at the intersection of furniture, fashion and art.

Caroline Kildebo – Feature and lifestyle editor at ELLE Norway.

The conversation is moderated by Guro Røberg.
