On December 11th, Matre, together with Kirsten Visdal, hosted a Christmas gathering at Furuvik – an evening centered around togetherness and the idea that food becomes richer when shared.

Guests were invited to bring one dish each, with flavors of Christmas and a personal touch. The result was a diverse meal where homemade traditions, new interpretations, and spontaneous combinations could exist side by side. No menu, no order – just one shared table.

Some guests knew each other already, while others were meeting for the first time. Conversations flowed easily, laughter spread, and people lingered longer than planned. The atmosphere was simple, warm, and informal – an evening where small moments of connection and togetherness naturally emerged.
