Copenhagen, 10-12 June
From June 10–12, we participated for the first time in 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen. With our showroom at Bredgade 73 as a base, it became three days of full house, new encounters, and countless good conversations about design, materials, and furniture.
There is something special about Copenhagen during 3 Days of Design. The city is filled with people who care about the same things—design, architecture, craftsmanship, interiors, and well-considered products. For us, it was both inspiring and, without a doubt, a great privilege to be part of it for the first time in our history.
Throughout these days, we had the opportunity to show who we are, what we make, and what we stand for. At the same time, it was just as rewarding to meet the people who visited the showroom — both familiar faces and new connections who found their way to Bredgade 73.
Throughout the days, the showroom saw a steady flow of visitors, and many of the conversations happened spontaneously—often in between other exhibitions and meetings around the city. We met both long-standing collaborators and new faces, and had many engaging discussions ranging from ongoing projects to material choices and how furniture is actually used in practice.
A major highlight was the launch of Python, designed by Peter Opsvik in 1975. It was the first time the product was shown after having been kept out of view in Peter’s archive for 50 years, and the response has been overwhelming. What stood out to us during these days was how direct and immediate the reaction was: people sat down, tried the chair, and wanted to learn more about the thinking behind it.
Being able to share a story that has been hidden for so many years, and at the same time highlight one of Norway’s most important designers, has been—and continues to be—something truly meaningful for us.
Taking part in 3 Days of Design for the first time has been both inspiring and insightful. We are leaving Copenhagen with new impressions, valuable encounters, and renewed energy—and we are already looking forward to next year.
Fortunately, our doors at Bredgade 73 remain open. Whether you would like to experience Python, explore our collection, or simply stop by for a conversation about design, craftsmanship, and well-considered spaces, you are always welcome to visit our showroom in Copenhagen.
